Rod has been a passionate student of martial arts for over sixteen years. He has attained the rank of Nidan (second degree black belt) in Ketto Ryu Jujitsu and currently holds the rank of Yodan (fourth-degree black belt) as granted by his current Sensei: Kevin Lintott. With an interest in many styles of martial art, and having formerly studied Aikido, Rod has had the honour and pleasure to personally train with such martial art masters as Michael DePasquale Jr., Professor George Kirby, Professor Walt Lenoir, David Dye, Richard Bustillo, Pierre Lautischer, Kevin Millis and Carlos Newton. Rod has always valued a healthy, active lifestyle and spent much of his youth participating in hockey, golf and semi-pro baseball. He is a devoted family man and has chosen to promote the benefits of a socially and physically healthy lifestyle through the martial art of Jujitsu.

Brent McMillan Sensei

Brent Sensei possesses over 20 years of experience in the art of Jujitsu and currently holds the rank of Nidan (2nd Degree Black Belt) in Ketto Ryu Jujitsu, and Sandan (3rd Degree Black Belt) in Inukshuk Jujitsu. Having received his Shodan (1st Degree Black Belt) in 1993, he has devoted 14 years to teaching and instructing the art of Ju-Jitsu. During all of this time, Brent Sensei has taught along side of, and received instruction from, many great martial artists like Michael DePasquale Jr., Professor George Kirby, Terry Wingrove and Pierre Lautischer. At some points in his long journey, he spent time exploring other martial arts, namely: Judo, Arnis and Aikido, but his path always returned to Ju-Jitsu as he found it to be the most practical, enjoyable, exciting and entertaining. He is a devoted family man and dedicates many hours volunteering to coach hockey, soccer and other community based activities.

Richard Lowe Sensei

Richard Sensei has been involved in the study of martial arts for 15 years. In addition to a Red Belt in Taekwondo, Richard also holds the rank of Nidan (2nd Degree Black Belt) in Ketto Ryu Jujitsu. As both a professional educator and avid student, Richard has honed his knowledge of martial arts by personally training with revered martial artists like Michael DePasquale Jr., Professor George Kirby, Richard Bustillo, and Pierre Lautischer. His current hectic work and family schedule does not allow him to instruct as much as he would like, but he brings a tremendous level of enthusiasm to the club when he does.
