Brent McMillan Sensei - ||| Sandan 参段 (3rd Degree Black Belt) Inukshuk Jujitsu - Retired 2015
Brent Sensei possesses over 25 years of experience in the art of Jujitsu and holds the rank of Sandan (3rd degree black belt) in Inukshuk Jujitsu and Nidan (2nd degree black belt) in Ketto Ryu Jujitsu.
Having received his Shodan in 1993, he devoted 20 years to teaching and instructing the art of jujitsu. During this time, Brent Sensei has taught along side of, and received instruction from, many great martial artists like Michael DePasquale Jr., Professor George Kirby, Terry Wingrove, and Pierre Lautischer.
At some points in his long journey, he spent time exploring other martial arts, namely Judo, Arnis, and Aikido, but his path always returned to Jujitsu, as he found it to be the most practical, enjoyable, exciting, and entertaining. He is a devoted family man and dedicates many hours volunteering to coach hockey, soccer, and other community-based activities.
Sensei Brent was always a favorite instructor of students at IBK, bringing an infectious sense of humour and a practical, no-nonsense approach to the study and application of Jujitsu as an art of self-defense.
