Resources for Students

Syllabus
Our syllabus of techniques covers traditional and modern Japanese Jujutsu techniques, and integrates a variety of techniques from other self-defense based, traditional, and sportive martial arts including:
  • Throws and takedowns
  • Standing and ground-based joint locks
  • Neck restraints and chokes
  • Sweeps and reversals
  • Striking and blocking
  • Controlling, pinning, and escort techniques
  • Pressure point control tactics (PPCT)
  • Responses to a myriad of common attacks in self defense situations
  • and much more

Each belt level has a new set of techniques appropriate for that skill level. The syllabus is posted at the dojo, is available in it's entirety in our manual, and individual belt level requirements can be provided to our students electronically upon request.
